The TINOM Labyrinth collection is inspired by The Garden of Forking Paths, a novel written by Jorge Luis Borges. In his book, Borges built a symbolic labyrinth where time is constantly cycling. When a man is faced with alternatives he chooses one path at the expense of the others. This is Borges’ metaphor for the time that is forever dividing itself toward countless versions of the future.

The Labyrinth collection can be considered as an experiment of time and space. We think of the association between substance and space. And at different points in time, the accessories are given a spatial language. It’s also a monologue. Just as Borges said: “ There is a labyrinth which is a straight line.”
